SINGAPORE, 1 March 2021 – QĪN invites guests to experience home away from home, with classic dishes re-imagined with a modern, yet intimate touch.

CONCEPT

Discover QĪN (亲, pronounced as 'Chin') at The Clan Hotel on Cross Street - one of the oldest streets in Singapore and well-known for its rich heritage. Celebrating kinship, QĪN reaches into the past and edges it forward, offering a contemporary, creative take on dishes that tug at the heartstrings of one’s home.

AMBIENCE

Located at the fourth and fifth level of the hotel, QĪN boasts an Asian rustic adorned interior that exudes class and elegance. Antique ornaments mingling with modern furniture create a warm and comfortable atmosphere within QĪN.

The fourth floor serves as the restaurant dining area, offering a magnificent bird’s eye view of the city with floor to ceiling windows. Chinese contemporary design elements coupled with granite and wood finishing highlight the restaurant’s cultural roots, while creating an elegant dining experience. The open kitchen concept offers a visual treat as guests watch our chefs creating their masterpieces.

Step into the restaurant via the fifth floor and be immediately greeted by Chinese medical hall-inspired cabinets lining the wall of the entrance, spanning over the entire ceiling. A section of the space is dedicated to the bar – the brass wine cellars and granite bar top bringing an air of sophistication to the décor.

Bask in nostalgia at QĪN as you take pleasure in distinctive, creative cuisine that gives you a peek into the culinary culture of the past, while boasting exemplary cooking methods.

Celebrating the influences that have shaped Singapore, QĪN’s extensive menu features novel sharing plates and delicacies that perfectly represents a melting pot of cultures.
